Hardwired to Connect reports the psychological and physiological benefits of Religious Education. This report was done by experts from YMCA of the USA, Dartmouth Medical School, and the Institute for American Values.

The 83-page report done by a 33-member panel comprised of children's doctors, research scientists, mental health professionals, and youth service professionals found that children's brains are hardwired for a certain level of social and spiritual connectedness.

The panel also identifies that today's society is lacking in fostering for this connectedness, and therefore today's children are suffering. This suffering is linked to an increase in rates of depression, anxiety, attention deficit, conduct disorders, suicidal thoughts, and other serious mental, emotional, and behavioral problems.

Imagine telling principals that by allowing Released Time in their schools, they are giving their students a life that can be free of the dreadful problems listed. When you are presenting the need for Released Time Bible Education to school officials, the findings of this report are crucial in proving need for more moral and spiritual development in a child's education.

Why Use It?

  • Demonstrates children’s needs for religious education
  • Research done by a wide variety of highly specialized professionals
  • Portrays physiological and psychological needs in children
  • Great for School Officials

As the culture becomes darker and darker, Released Time Bible Education becomes more and more important.  We are now reaching out to a generation of children who have no compass for right and wrong and are Biblically illiterate…a generation that is unchurched yet hungers for answers.  Now more than ever our public schools are ripe for harvest as a mission field and Released Time fills that need.
